Job Detail

• Manage all manufacturing operations in the sintering section.
• Ensure that manufacturing operations are in accordance with company standards, policies and practices.
• Improve and establish effective process controls to minimize process variability using sintering engineering approaches.
• Lead the team as a member of the troubleshooting team to correct and prevent problems.
• Control budgets and control investment and operating expenses.
• Ensure that production objectives are achieved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Plan and monitor maintenance of plant, equipment and machinery.
• Control maintenance budgets and expenses.
• Provide employee training to improve work efficiency.
• Control raw material utilization to achieve the highest efficiency as targeted.
• Control production costs to meet the standards of each product.
• Reduce production costs, reduce waste and use technology to increase productivity and OEE.
• Control and participate in 5S, Kaizen, Poka-yoke, Muda and TPM production promotion activities.
• Control workforce under cost management.
• Ensure that KPIs are achieved by working according to the overall plan, including management and reporting, development and overall personnel management.
• Propose alternatives or solutions for equipment modification or improvement to improve production efficiency and create new products on the current equipment platform.
• Responsible for and perform according to procedures, quality management standards and safety management. Including supporting the certification system in all standards
• Overseeing incidents, accidents and investigations of non-conformities, including related reporting and closing of cases
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Press for Irion Power, Mold, Tooling and Materials or related field
• Minimum 10 years experience in sintering or casting process of any product, especially automotive industry (engineering, reliability and maintenance)
• Deep understanding of metallurgy, tooling, equipment and strategies to maximize production process
• Ability to decisively and quickly resolve plant issues, minimizing downtime
• Experience in heat treatment control in production plan and performance
• Ability to develop high pressure in sintering process production parameters
• Ability to set heat conditions according to machine and production process requirements
• Troubleshoot and implement sintering quality problems
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex compression and sintering processes
• Ability to set work standards and maintain and continuously improve
• Ability to continuously maintain and improve production quality and productivity
• Oversee mold holding and troubleshooting of sintering and compression processes
• Ability to plan sintering oven maintenance to support production plan and targets
• Ability to control new molds and actual JIG use, repair and troubleshoot molds according to plan Control repair techniques and mold pressing techniques
• Coordinate with relevant departments to reduce machine breakdowns caused by mold problems
• Excellent in commercial thinking, initiative, self-direction, problem solving and achievement orientation
• Must be self-directed and able to communicate effectively with other departments and subordinates in the department
• Other duties as assigned
